I know I say this every month but… I can’t believe this month’s over! Sitting down and creating a monthly meal plan really makes you take stock of time as it passes. My May Meal Plan is comin’ at cha.

I won’t go into details about how or why I meal plan because I dive deep on those topics in this post about Monthly Meal Plans, so click on over there for details and a free printable to get you started.
If you often plan meals but don’t follow through, here are some helpful tips for sticking to a meal plan!
What’s in the Meal Plan this month?
As always, you can expect Tacos on Tuesdays and Pizza on Fridays. We’re also going to be grilling more, tossing together quick sandwiches, eating more sandwiches — I hate coming inside to cook on warm days when we all just want to be outside for hours. I’ll also be including a few new recipes from The Weeknight Dinner Cookbook to keep my kids trying new things.
We also have a lot of special events going on in May (two birthdays, Mother’s Day and Memorial Day) which will I will plan closer to that day. Also, I don’t really care what we what on Mother’s Day, but I’m not cooking.
If you’re looking for more inspo, check out these other meal planning posts (I do this every month, but I’m taking a break for the summer): January’s Meal Plan, February’s Meal Plan, March’s Meal Plan, and April’s Meal Plan.
